Wow.. it's been two years since I last wrote on this blog. Partly because I'm not sure anyone reads this thing... and partly because life seems to just sweep you up in the current. Eventually you have to swim sideways to get out.
Two years... I'm going to be a senior at Syracuse now. I can feel the fangs of the real world digging into me and it's slightly frightening. There is a part of me that is ready, but there is a part of me that doesn't want to leave this stage in life... whatever this stage is. I would call it the learning phase. That's what I love about it--we're young and make mistakes, but its how we learn from these mistakes that will change how we look at the world. You learn things for school, work, your future job, and in general. You become a little wiser, a little harder, a little older. But I hope I hang on to that childish want I hope I never lose.
